How it’s calculated
Future value = P × (1 + R ÷ 100)t P = amount invested once R = expected yearly return (%) t = years
Example: ₹1,00,000 left for 10 years at 10% a year becomes about ₹2,59,374.
Returns are compounded once a year. Market-linked investments do not grow in a straight line, so the result is an estimate.
